Leopard & elephant conservation
We direct support to the trusts protecting Yala's leopards and Udawalawe's elephant corridors, and we brief every guest on responsible viewing.

OUR COMMITMENT
We design Sri Lanka to be left better than we found it.
SUSTAINABILITY
Sri Lanka is small, dense and extraordinary. A leopard, a rainforest, a reef and a tea estate sit within a day of each other. That closeness is the magic, and it is also the risk. Move carelessly and you flatten the very thing people came for.
We're a new studio opening in 2026, so we get to decide the rules from day one. Every itinerary we draw, every supplier we choose, every kilometre we drive is weighed against one question: does this leave the island better than we found it?
THE FOUNDING TEAM

THE PROMISE
One percent of every trip goes back to the island.
Conservation, community and low-footprint operations, baked into the price, not bolted on after.
Three promises

PROTECT THE WILD
We book the quieter park blocks, time the gates for the first jeeps out, and brief every guest on keeping distance. No jeep scrums, no baiting, no chasing the shot.
First jeeps out · quieter blocks · trackers, not tour buses

BACK THE COMMUNITY
Family-run stays, home kitchens, local guides, fishers and makers. We route trips through the people who live there so the money we earn on the island stays on the island.
Family stays · home kitchens · local guides paid fairly

LOWER THE FOOTPRINT
Plastic-free kits in every vehicle, route planning that cuts needless driving, and an offset on every kilometre travelled. Small, deliberate choices, repeated on every trip.
Plastic-free kits · smarter routing · every km offset
We're new, so these are promises, not trophies. Here is exactly what we're committing to from the day we open, and where the support goes.
1%
of revenue, pledged
One percent of every trip goes to Sri Lankan conservation and community funds.
100%
plastic-free kits
Refillable bottles and tumblers in every vehicle, from our first day open.
0
single-use on tour
Our target for 2026: zero single-use plastics handed to a guest.
7
regions, one standard
The same responsible playbook coast to highlands to cultural triangle.
We partner with established Sri Lankan organisations rather than running our own programmes. They know the work; we send travellers, attention and funds their way.
We direct support to the trusts protecting Yala's leopards and Udawalawe's elephant corridors, and we brief every guest on responsible viewing.
Reforestation and ranger-support programmes in the island's last primary rainforest, funded by a slice of every wilderness itinerary.
Fair-paid local guides, family-run stays and home kitchens, plus support for the women-led cooperatives we cook and shop with.
We work with responsible whale and turtle operators only, and back the south-coast hatcheries doing the quiet, long work.
We'll do the heavy lifting, but the best trips happen when you lean in too. Four easy ways to make your journey count, built right into how we plan.

We add a verified carbon offset to your itinerary by default. It's already in the quote; you can opt to give more, or ask exactly where it goes.
Travel that gives back
Plan a trip with us and a part of it goes straight back to the people and the wilderness that make Sri Lanka worth the journey. The same island, kept whole for the next traveller.
